LeBron James
LeBron James (full name LeBron Raymone James) was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio, USA. He is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Biography and Career :
His mother was only sixteen when she gave birth to him and their financial situation wasn't very good, so many times they had to move from a place to another. This changed when his mother started to date with Edward Jackson which became a father figure to him.
He attended St. Vincent - St. Mary High School (SVSM) in Akron, Ohio and there he started to play basketball. In his sophomore year, James averaged 25.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 3.8 steals and became the first sophomore who was named Mr. Ohio's Ba
sketball.
His fame increased and in his junior year became again Mr. Ohio's Basketball he earned a spot on the All-USA First Team, and was named the 2001-02 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
In his first season in NBA he played for Sacramento Kings and became the youngest player in league history to score 40 points in a game (against New Jersey Nets). In the season 2004-2005 played in his first NBA All-Star Game and he recorded 13 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds, as the Eastern All-Stars defeated the Western All-Stars 125-115. In 2005-2006 was voted the 2nd MVP (Most Valuable Player) and had a very good season.
